We are seeking a skilled Public Relations and Social Media Specialist to lead our brand reputation management efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Public Relations & Media Outreach:
* Develop and distribute press releases for product launches, partnerships, and company milestones.
* Pitch to journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure earned media coverage.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts.
* Identify timely PR opportunities across product categories.
* Monitor industry trends and media coverage to inform outreach strategies.
2. Brand Reputation & Crisis Management:
* Track brand sentiment across media, social platforms, and app stores.
* Lead crisis communication and rapid-response strategies when needed.
* Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues or harmful content.
* Encourage positive user reviews and manage feedback loops across platforms.
3. Social Media Management, Content Creation & Influencer Outreach:
* Owning day-to-day social media posting for multiple products, including content calendar management.
* Design engaging graphics, write compelling copy, and produce short-form videos.
* Create and edit YouTube videos, including tutorials, promos, and brand storytelling content.
* Respond to comments and DMs across platforms to build and maintain community engagement.
* Measure performance (KPIs, engagement, growth) and optimize content strategy.
* Identify, recruit, and manage influencer and creator partnerships.
* Plan influencer campaigns aligned with product and brand goals, and track results.
4. Internal & External Communications:
* Draft and share company announcements, leadership content, and blog posts.
* Keep internal channels updated with press releases, media coverage, and key milestones.
* Craft messaging for executive interviews, public speaking, and media appearances.
* Ensure consistency and brand alignment in all public-facing communications.
Requirements
* Strong English proficiency and strategic communication skills.
* Proven ability to secure media coverage and build press relationships.
* Solid understanding of brand reputation management and crisis comms.
* Experience with influencer discovery, collaboration, and campaign execution.
* Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut.
* SEO and ASO understanding.
* Experience working with mobile apps or tech brands.
* Strong analytical skills for social and PR performance reporting.
