Data Scientist – Generative AI (Mid-to-Senior Level) Must Haves:5–6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist1–2 years of hands-on experience with Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Large Language Models (LLMs)Strong Python skills, with the ability to integrate code into existing engineering frameworks and hand off to engineering for production deploymentProficiency with GitHub and version control workflowsExperience with database structures and cloud computing (any provider is acceptable)Plusses:Experience working in education technology or healthcare-related AI applicationsPrior working experience with LangGraph Day-to-Day:You’ll work closely with another data scientist and own features within a broader education technology initiative. Your tasks will be assigned via Jira by a project manager, and you’ll collaborate with engineering to push code into production. While you won’t be responsible for defining features, you’ll execute on them independently, relying on the product owner for guidance and feedback. Expect 1–2 scrums per week, formal data process reviews (but no formal code reviews), and a fast-paced environment focused on delivering RAG-based AI solutions that support healthcare clients.Compensation:$18/hr to $23/hr. USD Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
