Agile Project Management Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a professional who is comfortable working with distributed teams and collaborating closely with Agile leadership.
This position requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Scrum of Scrums) and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar is also required.
The successful candidate will have proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and navigate team conflicts. They will also be able to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with teams across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring alignment with Agile principles.
* Support and guide one Scrum team, with potential responsibility for a second team.
* Partner with an enterprise Agile Coach to improve team performance and delivery.
* Assist with the implementation and adoption of SAFe practices.
* Identify, escalate, and help remove impediments impacting team progress.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience as a dedicated Agile Project Manager.
* Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Scrum of Scrums).
* Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework); certifications are a strong plus.
* Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
* Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and navigate team conflicts.
* Experience working with distributed, global teams.
