Role Description

As a Condition Intelligence (CI) Specialist at Dingo, you will be at the heart of delivering data-driven insights that help our clients across the Americas protect their most critical assets. Your mission is to transform fluid, sensor, and digital inspection data into clear, actionable recommendations that prevent mobile and fixed-plant breakdowns, extend component life, and eliminate unplanned downtime.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely within then Dingo Technical Services team to monitor asset health remotely, assess component-level risk, and guide operational decisions that directly impact productivity, safety, and cost efficiency. You will be instrumental in harnessing Dingo’s advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities to proactively engage client to identify risks before they escalate, ensuring consistently measurable results.

With a primary focus on our rapidly growing North and South American customer base, you will combine technical expertise with strong communication skills to deliver timely, trusted advice, strengthening long-term partnerships. In a mining sector increasingly focused on efficiency, sustainability, and predictive maintenance, your work will be a key driver in cementing Dingo’s reputation as the leader in asset health intelligence.


Condition Data Analysis & Diagnostics – Review and interpret condition management data from both mobile and fixed plant assets to diagnose component-level risks. Apply domain expertise to determine root causes, assess severity, and prioritize corrective actions based on operational impact, safety, and mission criticality.

Rules-Based Analytics Development – Create and refine rules-based analytics to enable swift detection of emerging issues. Ensure diagnostic models and alert parameters support early intervention, reducing downtime and extending component life.

Technical Support & Collaboration – Provide expert guidance to Dingo teams on component health assessments, lubrication strategies, and condition management best practices. Act as a trusted technical resource for troubleshooting and advanced diagnostics.

Customer Communication & Maintenance Recommendations – Follow up on flagged components or lubricant issues, translating complex technical data into clear, actionable maintenance recommendations for customers. Ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with customer priorities.

Quality Observation Reviews – Deliver high-quality, daily observation reviews and actionable insights, consistently applying safety-first principles and considering operational mission criticality.

Data Accuracy & System Integrity – Monitor the condition management software database to ensure data accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain the integrity of condition records.

Lubricated Component Health Assessment – Evaluate the condition of lubricated components to identify opportunities for extending asset life through on-condition maintenance changes.

Customer Engagement & Follow-Up – Organize and lead remote Condition Management follow-up meetings with customers and internal teams to confirm satisfaction, address concerns, and reinforce positive engagement experiences.

Diagnostic Tools & Guideline Development – Assist in developing structured diagnostic guidelines, contamination troubleshooting processes, and detailed repair procedures to support consistent, high-quality component health management.


Qualifications

Experience – Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in heavy industrial equipment maintenance within industrial or mining environments;
OR a Mechanical or Mining Engineering degree with at least two (2) years of relevant experience. Hands-on background as a shop or field mechanic for industrial mining equipment is highly desirable.

Industry Knowledge – Strong familiarity with mining and industrial maintenance principles, including mechanical systems, equipment design, and repair processes.

Lubrication & Condition Monitoring Expertise – In-depth understanding of lubrication applications, maintenance principles, familiarity in onboard machine telemetry and/or OEM condition monitoring reporting systems, and the use of condition monitoring technologies and tools to inform proactive maintenance strategies.

Technical Proficiency – Proven ability to use data and factual analysis to troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and make informed operational decisions.

Linguistic Proficiency – Fluency in English is essential for clear and effective communication with customers and internal teams. A high degree of proficiency in Spanish or French is a strong advantage for engaging with a broader range of stakeholders.

Communication & Leadership – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong information management capabilities. Demonstrated ability to lead interactions with both internal teams and external customers, building trust and alignment.
