This senior business professional will provide high-level advisory services to software companies, building and maintaining strategic relationships to identify and capitalize on potential merger and acquisition opportunities.
 * Meet or exceed monthly M&A targets, focusing on quality over quantity and prioritizing meaningful contacts and measurable KPIs.
 * Collaborate with M&A leadership to qualify and prioritize potential opportunities, leveraging expertise to drive efficient decision-making.
 * Evaluate and optimize lead database allocation within assigned vertical markets, ensuring accurate resource utilization.
 * Strategically qualify top-end acquisition funnel opportunities to maintain focus for Portfolio Managers and drive long-term value creation.
 * A proven track record of developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of high-value relationships with prospects, demonstrating career growth and trajectory within software investing.
 * Previous success in autonomous Business Development roles, or entrepreneurial ventures outside traditional BD experience, will be considered.
 * Advanced communication skills, with confidence and executive presence to engage with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity, and venture capital professionals.
 * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
 * Highly motivated, proactive team player with a sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering results-driven solutions.
