As a key professional in the field of regional and urban development, you will be part of a strong international consortium working on European Union (EU) financed projects. The team is responsible for implementing short-term assignments across various priorities under this framework contract.
The position involves contributing to the development and implementation of strategies and solutions for sustainable urban growth, climate neutrality, and environmental sustainability. Your expertise will be crucial in addressing complex issues related to land use, transportation integration, and disaster risk management.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a minimum of 10 years' experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Urban planning, renewal, and regeneration
* Transition to a climate-neutral economy and environmental sustainability
* Carbon-neutral cities, land use, and transport integration
* Sustainable urban mobility plans, smart cities, and eco-districts
* Brownfield regeneration, cultural heritage, and territorial governance mechanisms
You must have a Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree relevant to the topic and excellent English language skills (CEFR C1). Experience working with EU-financed projects and knowledge of specific sectors such as urban and regional development, urban buildings, social infrastructure, economic development, disaster risk management, and social and affordable housing are highly desirable.
