Key Role Summary
The Senior KDB/Q Developer position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining KDB+/q databases and real-time data processing systems. The developer will work on building data ingestion pipelines from multiple market data sources using Kafka, collaborating with Java developers to integrate KDB systems with trading, analytics, and risk applications. Additionally, they will support React-based front-end interfaces by developing efficient APIs and query services for visualization and analysis, monitor performance of large-scale time-series datasets, troubleshoot production issues, ensure high data quality and reliability, and partner with quantitative researchers and traders to design new data-driven features and analytics.
