Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive approach to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instances.
• Design and implement solutions to meet Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements.
• Create and deliver assigned projects / tasks, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Establish and maintain methodologies and best practices for BO / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements.
• Ensure supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
• Collaborate with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and coordinate updates to steering committees.
• Work closely with key functional or business stakeholders to achieve clear outcomes/deliverables in relation to strategic and transformational book of work.
• Manage deliverables, ensuring transparency of risks, issues, and dependencies that are fully aligned to functional / business owners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial products cross assets.
• Deep understanding of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management.
• Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance related solutions within Calypso, adhering to governance frameworks and implementing handovers to BAU.
• Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.
• Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and business resources at all levels.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment.
• Proficiency in Spanish, both spoken and written (Mandatory)
