Project Objective
We seek an experienced professional to support the validation process for Commodities Asset class onboarding to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives.
Responsibilities:
* Resolve daily front-office issues related to functional, valuation, and pricing aspects.
* Address daily challenges stemming from the Equity Derivatives desk.
* Closely collaborate with EQD Desk Traders to resolve issues.
* Ammend pre-trade rules, eTradePad, and simulations as required.
* Resolve requests or issues with profit and loss, market data, and booking-related matters.
* Analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and/or contribute to overall solutions according to PROD Support deliverables.
* Liaise with technical teams when necessary to resolve front-office related issues and enhancements.
* Manage day-to-day project tasks to complete various front-office deliverables.
* Resolve yield curve issues and validation; assign curves; create new curves.
* Continuously follow-up on new market regulations and practices globally.
* Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).
* Develop business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong product knowledge in EQD and COM.
* Very strong understanding of FX and IRD business.
* Very strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle.
* Strong experience in supporting front-office users and resolving their daily issues.
* 5+ years experience with Murex front-office functionalities.
* 4+ years experience in financial markets roles.
* SQL proficiency.
* Must have a strong personality, logical and analytical skills.
* Be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter.
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have strong organization skills.
