Hybrid remote work is possible.Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Project Sales Director you will be accountable for leading the EPC and complex EEQ sales for new built engine power plant opportunities. You will have a leading role to ensure we have predictable and profitable sales, enabling successful project execution. You’ll be part of the Management Team of EPP Sales Management within the Engine Power Plant Business Unit, reporting to the Director, EPP Sales Management.ResponsibilitiesLead the EPC and complex EEQ sales for new built engine power plant opportunitiesEnsure Wärtsilä contracting policies are followed and proper contract terms are achievedLead the contract negotiations and contracting processPrepare winning sales negotiation strategyAim for building long-term service agreementsManage and maintain customer relationshipsEnsure sales project is properly transferred to project executionRequirementsFluent in English and Spanish; proficiency at a native or mother-tongue level is requiredSeniority as a sales leader with a strong track record of building and leading high-performing teamsStrong track record of negotiating complex EPC sales energy projectsContractual and risk management understandingVisible influencing and communications skills, especially with cross-functional teams and external stakeholdersWillingness to travel; travel may account for approximately 40% of working timeQualifications to succeedLeads by example and enables collaboration across organisationsBroad understanding of Engine Power Plants business, solutions and future market outlookCommercial and customer mindset with a structured approachOutstanding team player and excellent coaching skillsDrives results with planning, change and executionInspires action towards future goalsAppreciates diversity and builds psychological safety and inclusionSupports Wärtsilä Purpose and demonstrates Wärtsilä values: Customer Success, Passion, PerformanceWhy you and us?You are valued – as your true self.
