Unique Creative Opportunities for Artistic Minds
Turing seeks artists to collaborate with another creator or assistant in their studio.
* Participate in the Common Lives Project, capturing daily creative processes using a head-mounted camera.
* Record and share hands-on collaboration and real-world artistic routines to train AI models.
Responsibilities:
1. Wear a GoPro camera for 5 days within a 2-week window, capturing daily activities.
2. Record at least 7 hours per day, taking breaks and pausing the camera for privacy.
3. Upload footage, review clips, and choose to delete, anonymize, or consent to each video segment.
Requirements:
* Studio requirements: No children (under 18) present or visiting during the recording period.
* Adult household members must be fluent English speakers and consent to being recorded.
* The space must be private, self-contained, and free from external distractions.
* Household members must agree to appear in the footage.
Participant Qualifications:
* Participants work indoors in non-customer-facing roles (e.g., not retail or child care).
* Both participants who share the same workplace or household should have a GoPro mounted during the activity.
* Preferably engaged in manual or creative work (e.g., chef, baker, artist, carpenter, musician, electrician, mechanic).
* Self-employed or employer consent required to record in the work environment.
* Comfortable using a computer for basic tasks such as reviewing and uploading video clips.
Technical Requirements:
* Access to a computer and internet connection.
* Comfortable using web-based tools for uploading and reviewing clips (training will be provided).
* GoPro camera and all accessories will be provided for the duration of the project.
