 * Working collaboratively, the individual will develop and advance relationships to grow AWS revenue through assigned partners.
 * Maintaining an accurate pipeline and forecast of business opportunities is crucial.
 * A thorough understanding of public sector contracting vehicles and procedures is essential.
 * A strategic sales plan must be developed, ensuring alignment with AWS strategic direction.
 * The successful candidate should understand technical considerations and certifications specific to the public sector.
 * This role involves executing the strategic sales and business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders.
 * Identifying specific prospects/partners/channels to approach while communicating the specific value for their use case is vital.
 * Fostering joint pursuits with the AWS sales, product, and technical teams is a critical aspect of this role.
 * Understanding the technical requirements of our customers and guiding the direction of our product offerings for developers is essential.
 * Regular business reviews must be prepared and delivered to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
 * Complex contract negotiations, including government contracting, must be managed effectively, liaising with the legal group when necessary.
