You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
* Strong expertise in UI automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber, POM) and API automation (Postman, Rest Assured, Karate DSL).
* Hands-on experience in mobile automation with Appium and other frameworks (Espresso, XCUITest, Detox).
* Familiarity with DevOps/QAOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS).
* Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases for test data management.
* ISTQB CTFL and Appium Certified Developer.
* Excellent problem-solving, collaborative mindset, and strong communication skills in English for direct client interaction.
* English is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US-based clients.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
* Plan, design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scenarios.
* Identify opportunities for test automation in web, API, and mobile applications.
* Log and triage defects, retest fixes, and deliver clear reporting.
* Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to define and execute test automation strategies.
* Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders on test planning and execution.
* Monitor test progress, ensure exit criteria are met, and maintain QA metrics.
* Support the selection and integration of automation tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
Knowledge of automation and agile methodologies (SCRUM), ISTQB certification (CFTL is a plus).
