Responsibilities and Impact

Publish daily price assessments according to methodology.
Drive the development of new assessments in line with market developments.
Inform the market through regional price commentaries, news coverage, podcasts, and other digital content describing key fundamental market drivers moving prices.
Drive customer meetings to learn about important issues facing market participants and translate them into new products or adjustments to Platts offerings.
Work in partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to Platts Editorial Standards.
Serve as an internal and external ambassador for Platts renewables offerings and ambition.

Basic Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Journalism, Economics, Environmental Science).
Fluency and proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
Strong analytical skills with a basic understanding of power markets and pricing mechanisms.
Familiarity with market analysis or reporting within the commodities sector is a plus (internships or academic projects).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel); experience with statistical analysis software is a plus but not required.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic market environment.
