Business Development Specialist
This is a key role for individuals looking to develop and grow business in the biotech sector.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective sales plan tailored to assigned accounts, with a focus on rapidly growing business in these areas.
* They will act as the primary interface between customers and all relevant divisions within our organization.
About this Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of life science concepts, preferably with a background in biology or genetics.
* They should also possess prior experience in sales and account management, particularly in the biotech industry, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
* A deep knowledge network within assigned accounts would be advantageous.
* Additionally, they should be proficient in Salesforce.com or other CRM software, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with NGS, genomics, and/or molecular biology would be beneficial.
* The ability to travel within Brazil is required.
Requirements
* Life science background (biology or genetics) with a BS degree (advanced degree preferred); new graduates encouraged to apply.
* Prior sales and account management experience in biotech is a plus.
* Background in NGS, genomics, and/or molecular biology.
* Deep knowledge/network within assigned accounts is a plus.
* Independent, self‑driven, and goal‑oriented.
* Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or other CRM software is a plus.
* Must be fluent in English.
* Must be able to travel within Brazil.
