We are seeking a full-time, remote Senior AI Engineer with 5+ years of software development experience and a strong background building AI native software to join our U.S. client. You will provide leadership and expertise to advance strategic and technical goals of our client.
Our client is a venture studio that surrounds industry subject matter experts with senior technical talent to build AI-native software solving real-world problems as well as consulting services to propel software companies along their AI journey.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and technical expertise to AI-powered, engineering initiatives
* Advise startups on AI product development using agentic AI, LLMs, and modern AI infrastructure
* Develop software in conjunction with startup subject matter experts and engineering teams
* Stay abreast of AI trends and advise colleagues and clients on emerging AI opportunities
* Communicate across different stakeholder groups including executive, boards, technical, client and industry
Required Experience
* Excellent English communication and teamwork skills
* 5+ years of software development experience including AI engineering
* Strong proficiency in Python
* Deep experience in AI product development using agents, LLMs, and modern AI infrastructure
* Expertise with ML/LLM frameworks, such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or equivalent
* Experience with vector databases, orchestration frameworks, and modern MLOps practices
* Track record of deploying AI services in production
* Strong grounding in cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
* Proven ability to stay self-motivated, work hard, own problems from start to finish, and deliver in a vibrant, fast-moving environment
* Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a broader team.
* Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent
Preferred Experience
* University degree in a technical field
* Experience with AWS
