Job Title: Enterprise Data Specialist
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of database operations, with expertise in SQL Server and Azure SQL. They will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale databases to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Database Architecture and Performance Tuning: Design and evolve database schemas, indexes, queries, and stored procedures to support high-performance application workloads.
* Database Operations and Maintenance: Own database performance tuning, query optimization, capacity planning, backup, restore, disaster recovery, availability, and survivability strategies in Azure SQL.
* Cost Management and Optimization: Manage database cost management in Azure, including sizing, scaling strategies, and cost optimization.
* Software Development and Feature Delivery: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and services using C# and .NET, building features that interact deeply with the database, balancing correctness, performance, and maintainability.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
* Professional Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET software development.
* Technical Skills: Strong SQL Server/Azure SQL expertise, including advanced T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
