We are seeking an accomplished Ruby on Rails expert to join our team as a skilled Web Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework.
The ideal candidate will have experience with web development, proficiency in at least one object-oriented web framework, and strong knowledge of relational database theory and SQL. A solid background in software development methodologies and coding standards is also necessary.
Key responsibilities include integrating external web services and APIs, ensuring database integrity and efficiency, deploying, configuring, and managing web applications and infrastructure on various cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to the design and ongoing enhancements of our DevOps systems and resolve customer-reported issues with our existing technology.
The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work efficiently under tight deadlines, and have strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, unit testing, and end-to-end testing is highly desirable.
