PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
* Update PCS (write care plans & review) and carry out weekly/monthly audits.
* Conduct staff appraisals and identify training needs.
* Develop proposals to improve the marketing of the home to maintain high occupancy.
Shift Work: 3-4 days
* Assist clients with personal care needs including bathing, washing, dressing, and undressing.
* Manage your team and oversee the floor.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date records.
* Participate in internal and external activities of the home.
* Attend training courses as scheduled.
* Follow infection control procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.
* Support relatives and friends of clients.
* Maintain client records and perform care audits.
* Attend all required training sessions.
* Coordinate with GPs, care professionals, local authorities, and other clinical entities.
* Administer medications following policy and guidelines.
* Perform any other duties as required.
KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Experience in personal care, reliability, record keeping, and time management.
* Experience as a senior carer in the care sector or hospital environment.
* Clinical knowledge or background.
* NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, or studying towards a management qualification.
