Position Summary: The Product Research Specialist plays a key role in bridging the gap between market needs, user expectations, and internal product development. This position is responsible for leading research initiatives, analyzing user behavior, and generating insights that drive innovation, enhance product quality, and improve customer satisfaction across the Latin American market.Key Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth market research and product benchmarking to identify trends, user preferences, and competitive positioning.Gather and analyze user insights and regional data through interviews, field visits, and performance reports.Prepare comprehensive field reports to support strategic decisions in product development and market positioning.Research and define target user groups, identify key market opportunities, and map user needs across regions.Propose actionable recommendations and support their implementation in product planning and innovation processes.Lead the validation of product concepts by conducting user visits and field analysis, generating optimization proposals to improve functionality and user experience.Monitor product performance in the field and provide feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams for continuous improvement.Promote ongoing optimization of product quality and cost, ensuring reliability, market competitiveness, and user satisfaction.Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, After-Sales, and Manufacturing to ensure product alignment with market demands.Consolidate research findings into management reports and presentations, supporting strategic planning and portfolio decisions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Design, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience in product research, market intelligence, or user experience analysis.Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, or data visualization platforms.Fluency in English required; Spanish is a strong plus.
