Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Are you passionate about culinary arts and eager to advance your career on a world-class platform? Join our award-winning hotel’s kitchen team and elevate your culinary skills!
* Prepare and cook food, plate, and present dishes across all culinary departments (Outlets, Banquets, In-Room Dining, Employee Dining)
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards
* Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed
* Provide professional, friendly, and proactive guest service while supporting team members
* Perform any other assigned tasks
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to:
* Constant standing and walking during shifts
* Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
* Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
* Occasional use of ladders, stairs, and ramps
Qualifications
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
* Creativity and passion for food and customer service
* Flexibility to work any shift, including holidays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, and evenings
* Ability to perform well under pressure
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player
* Previous culinary experience required
* Journeyman’s papers or international equivalent are advantageous
* Culinary diploma certification is an asset
* Strong problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to stay calm and courteous while focusing on guest needs
* Mandatory State & Federal Food Handlers certification
