Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and accomplished project leader to drive our software development projects forward.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and alignment with project goals.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leadership & Team Management:
* Lead and manage cross-functional teams including technical architects, developers, QA, and business analysts.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Oversee daily operations ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
2. Project Management:
* Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
* Ensure timely delivery, high quality, and adherence to project targets.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously focusing on application/software development.
3. Microsoft DevOps Project Management:
* Configure sprints, backlogs, and work items within Microsoft DevOps ensuring transparency and alignment with Agile methodologies.
* Track user stories, epics, and prioritize them ensuring they align with project goals.
* Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives promoting team collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Monitor burndown charts and other metrics tracking project progress and timely delivery.
4. Business Analysis:
* Perform business analysis tasks as needed including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder interviews.
* Ensure clear documentation of business requirements communicated to technical teams.
5. Client Engagement:
* Serve as clients' primary point of contact ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
* Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to clients and stakeholders.
6. Technical Oversight:
* Collaborate with technical architects ensuring project designs align with business objectives and technical standards.
* Review and approve technical and business documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy.
7. Quality Assurance & Risk Management:
* Implement quality control processes ensuring deliverables meet required standards.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks proactively addressing challenges before they arise.
