The incredible opportunity Based in Latin America, you'll take ownership of tax and compliance for Myriota's non-Australian entities, especially in the US, Canada, and Brazil. You'll ensure full compliance with local regulations, partner with top advisors, and guide our Commercial team as we grow into new markets. We are looking for someone fluent in English and Portuguese with strong tax compliance expertise, ideally gained from a Big 4 environment, who can help us grow globally while staying fully compliant.
How you will drive success: Lead tax compliance for all non-Australian subsidiaries (Brazil, US, Canada), including Income Tax, VAT/GST/Sales Tax, and Withholding Tax Act as the key tax subject matter expert across jurisdictions, supported by local advisors Manage and build strong relationships with external tax advisors and regulators Advise on international tax strategy as we expand into new markets Partner with internal teams (Finance, Commercial) to ensure tax impacts are fully considered in business decisions
What we value in you: Big 4 Tax experience (required) or strong international tax experience in a global company CA or CPA qualification Fluency in English and Portuguese (required) A proven track record supporting multinational compliance and cross-border expansion Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills Comfortable working independently and across time zones Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel
