We are seeking an exceptional Senior IT Service Management Professional to spearhead the development and optimization of our IT service management platform.
About this role
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth expertise in configuration management, discovery, integrations, and related IT operations management modules. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, often requiring collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
 * Design, develop, and implement complex IT service management solutions including configuration management, discovery, and service mapping.
 * Experience with configuring and customizing IT service management applications and modules.
 * Lead the development of integrations between IT service management and other enterprise systems.
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
 * Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
 * Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
 * Provide solutions that leverage out-of-the-box features without requiring customizations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
 * 5-7 years of experience in IT service management development with a focus on IT operations management.
 * Strong knowledge of configuration management, service design and management, discovery, service mapping, and integrations.
 * Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and IT service management scripting.
 * Experience with automation and DevOps practices, familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD), code versioning tools such as Git, and Agile principles.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 * Ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally.
