Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA or CMA certification preferred, but not required. Public accounting experience a plus
Required Experience and Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud). Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modeling.
Skills and Abilities: Ability to manage and make progress on multiple projects simultaneously; detail oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; exceptional oral and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse groups; advanced English or Spanish level; highly motivated self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity and change; experience working with tight deadlines and successfully handling multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal direct supervision; excellent work ethic - high standard of performance and production.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including the preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and analyze reports for management, highlighting key financial metrics and insights.
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies through regular review and analysis of financial transactions.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing accurate and timely financial data.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues and streamline processes.
Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide support during internal and external audits.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function.
