Job Purpose and Impact
The Supply Chain Specialist will contribute to implement supply chain strategies and continuous improvement projects that address SC Planning decisions to support business goals.
In this role, you will coordinate cross functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain planning initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Use comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices and procedures to navigate through data and technology challenges, upgrades and changes.
- Implement moderately complex SC Planning projects of process improvements to drive continuous improvement across the organization.
- Using a thorough understanding of supply chain practices and procedures, report on processes and ensures best practices are shared among locations.
- Operate as one of the contact points for network design and optimization work.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field;
- Experience in SC planning and project management;
- Advanced / Fluent English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in supply chain planning (demand, inventory and operations planning);
- Experience in project management (different methodologies: waterfall and agile);
- APICS certification;
- Intermediate Spanish.
