Key Account Manager Role
The position of Key Account Manager involves providing strategic services to companies within the Perseus Group. This role necessitates forging strong business relationships with software company decision makers, M&A advisors, and private equity/venture capital professionals.
The successful candidate will develop and manage a pipeline of potential M&A opportunities through Salesforce CRM, create market maps to establish robust relationships in assigned software industry verticals, and meet monthly targets for meaningful contacts and other measurable M&A sourcing KPIs.
* Manage an M&A pipeline through Salesforce CRM to identify and qualify opportunities.
* Create market maps to build relationships in targeted software industry segments.
* Meet and exceed monthly targets for M&A activities, including the establishment of connections with key decision makers.
* Work autonomously and collaboratively with M&A leadership to efficiently qualify and prioritize M&A opportunities.
* Ensure accurate allocation of leads within portfolio verticals to optimize business outcomes.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy and ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
