Meta is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Analyst to focus on Importation flow and demand planning optimization of a multi-modal distribution solution in Latam Region. This person will be responsible for working closely with the Latam Logistics Manager, the Transportation team and cross functional partners to analyze, construct and manage a scalable model to support Meta and 3PL sites that have significant property receiving, storing, distributing and managing inventory to support our Infrastructure environment. This individual will produce visibility measurements and analytics for the management and optimization of data integrity across multiple systems, design processes, identify and resolve inventory inconsistencies in alignment with SOX controls and the logistics aspects of local Tax and international trade requirements. These include warehouses, points-of-presence (POPs), and any other locations that handles and manage Meta materials. This position requires a strong transportation, asset management and SOX controls background, as well as analytical excellence as it relates to supply chain optimization trends across geographically dispersed locations.
**Logistics Operations Analyst LATAM Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with internal transportation teams and external managed trade partners to help defining the growing global distribution business model, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Maintain data integrity across multiple systems and identify and resolve inventory inconsistencies, support logistics aspects of local Tax and international trade execution, including imports, exports, and compliance with government agency requirements.
- Define transportation lanes and international freight flow to optimize traffic and ensure seamless material movement in both direct and reverse logistics operations.
- Develop an assessment model for brokers, transportation partners and managed trade partners to quickly address exceptions and optimize trade lane management to support projected capacity.
- Monitor material movement and carrier performance across the network to anticipate any issues that could impact product movements and on-time delivery performance.
- Serve as the transportation lead to the IBOS organization to assist 3PLs, Customs brokers, Freight Forwarders, IOR/EOR partners and internal Trade and Compliance teams to fluidly plan for and move freight in support of projected need dates.
- Execute cost/benefit analysis to identify re-engineering opportunities for transportation lanes to improve Incoterm assignment, carrier mapping, and volume management.
- Produce monthly reporting scorecards to give visibility to regional transportation performance, on-time delivery and financial run-out.
- Manage Transportation Purchase Orders and AP invoice processing to ensure timely payment to 3PLs, Carriers and Managed Trade Partners.
- Develop end-to-end business process flow diagrams for all related business processes.
- Serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) with regards to the WMS and TMS processes.
- Understand and test the WMS/TMS system in conjunction with the functional leads.
- Communicate with global team.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- 4+ years related experience in a Supply Chain, Asset Management, and Freight Forwarding role.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years technical experience working with 3PL products including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems and/or order management systems.
- Experienced in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams.
- Experienced in Tax audits and Asset Management.
- Experienced in As-is/to-be Business process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis.
- Experienced with Excel, WMS and TMS
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Working proficiency in English.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Working knowledge of Latin America is preferred to understand the geo-political, cultural & socio-economic dynamics of the region.
- Experienced in Customer Service/ Freight Forwarding / Tech industry
- Experienced developing and maintaining process documentation/workflows
- Working proficiency in Spanish
