Visual Designer
We are seeking an accomplished 3D Visualisation Specialist to create visually stunning, high-fidelity 3D visuals. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional marketing-grade imagery and product animations.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen sense of composition, visual veracity, texture, and illumination, with expertise in lighting setup, colour, and shading.
A strong portfolio showcasing commercial-style 3D visualisations, image compositing, and 3D animation is essential. Experience working with beauty or wellness products is highly desirable.
This role requires a proactive interest in emerging 3D technologies and a willingness to explore AI-powered tools to optimise workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop hyper-realistic product scenes, including advanced image compositing and product animations.
* Create professional 3D product animations, such as product rotations and camera moves.
* Set new standards for modelling, texturing, and lighting of products, focusing on visual authenticity.
* Translate design concepts into detailed 3D models.
* Deliver high-resolution final images and video assets of rendered content.
* Prioritise multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
* Collaborate with Graphic Designers and support the wider Creative team.
* Adhere to brand guidelines, adapting to distinct visual approaches required for various brands.
* Maintain design standards, including consistent file-naming structures and folder organisation.
Requirements:
* Expert proficiency in Cinema 4D, with experience in Octane Render being highly preferred.
* A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in high-definition, commercial-style 3D visualisations, image compositing, and 3D animation.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, enabling fluently communicated technical constraints to non-technical team members.
* 4+ years' experience as a 3D designer, ideally in a graphic/animation studio, advertising agency, or in-house creative department.
* Educated to degree level in Design or a related subject, such as Graphic Design, Product Design, Animation, or Motion Design.
* Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and knowledgeable about the Adobe Creative Suite.
* Effective planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
