Position Summary
The Medical Education Manager serves as a subject matter expert in Interventional Cardiology, advancing patient care through education and collaboration. This role partners with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful training, provide guidance on product safety and efficacy, and support clinical adoption through evidence-based programs. By leading faculty engagement and developing procedural education initiatives, the position ensures clinicians have the confidence and knowledge to utilize Teleflex products safely and effectively, driving improved outcomes and greater product acceptance.
Principal Responsibilities
• Partner with commercial teams to plan, execute, and review clinical education initiatives, professional training, speaker programs, and related activities that support healthcare professionals in adopting advanced technologies and procedures for coronary and peripheral vascular interventions. • Design and deliver procedural education programs that promote best practices for the safe and effective use of Teleflex products. • Oversee peer-to-peer programs, including development and management of presentations by external healthcare providers for the Interventional product portfolio. • Manage healthcare professional engagement systems, ensuring compliance with transparency standards, international guidelines, and local regulations throughout contracting, execution, and payment processes. • Prepare and deliver educational and scientific presentations for advisory boards, institutional meetings, and non-promotional symposia. • Provide accurate medical and scientific information, including clinical data on marketed and pipeline products, to internal teams and healthcare professionals. • Offer feedback on product training development and collaborate with sales training to enhance new hire education materials. • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, industry codes of ethics, and company policies governing interactions with healthcare professionals as well as Teleflex's Code of Conduct. • Respond to unsolicited off-label inquiries in accordance with CMA policy.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Healthcare professional (HCP) (physician or nurse) specialist with demonstrated experience in Interventional Cardiology and/or peripheral vascular intervention.• Training and/or experience in healthcare services management or professional education.• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required; 2 or more years in a management role preferred • Experience in the Medical Device Industry preferred.
