 
        
        Job Opportunity: Senior Strategic Business Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Strategic Business Developer to drive our growth by building strong business relationships with key decision makers in the software industry. This role will involve identifying, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
 * Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business development objectives through meaningful relationships with software company executives, M&A advisors and private equity/venture capital professionals.
 * Meet and exceed monthly business development targets, such as meaningful contacts and other measurable business development KPIs.
 * Work closely with leadership to qualify business opportunities with efficiency and effectiveness.
 * Ensure accurate allocation of lead database within assigned portfolio verticals.
 * Effectively qualify opportunities at the top-end of the acquisition funnel to maintain focus for the Portfolio Managers of the business units.
Requirements & Qualifications:
 * At least 3+ years of experience in a business development/sales position at a software company or client-facing M&A/finance role within business development, sales and/or account management.
 * A clear interest in developing long-term pipelines of meaningful relationships with prospects as a career trajectory within software investing.
 * Previous high-performance in business development, winning in an autonomous role, or prior success in other walks of life outside professional BD experience, such as entrepreneurship, will be considered.
 * Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with confidence and executive presence to speak with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity and venture capital professionals.
 * Organized, detail-oriented and able to work variable hours.
 * Extraordinary work ethic, proactive with a sense of urgency.
