Title : Python Backend Developer Duration : Long Term
Location : 100% Remote (BR)
What This Engineer Will Do
Build and maintain Python-based backend services
Work with dataframes (Pandas and similar)
Support APIs used by internal and external platform components
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teammates
Execute assigned work with speed and consistency in a startup environment
This is a hands‑on, delivery-focused role, not research-heavy, not overly abstract.
Core Technical Requirements
Startup or early-stage company experience
Experience working with data‑heavy systems or data pipelines
Comfort working with dataframes (Pandas required; PySpark is a plus, not a must)
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure – any is fine)
Ability to work independently and hit deadlines
Nice to Have (NOT Required)
Exposure to big data tooling (Parquet, Databricks, Spark)
Some geospatial or analytics experience
