Cloud Development Expert

As a cloud development expert with Sonata, you will be part of a team that aims to deliver scalable and secure data integration pipelines between AWS services and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes using various AWS services such as AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon EventBridge, AWS AppFlow, and AWS Glue.
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS. They will also have expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure data integration pipelines between AWS services and SFMC.
In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will be able to work closely with marketing teams, Salesforce administrators, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. A subject matter expert in integrating SFMC with AWS services, particularly Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, and EC2, is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop processes for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data between SFMC and data warehouses or data lakes hosted on AWS.
* Work closely with marketing teams, Salesforce administrators, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Serve as a subject matter expert in integrating SFMC with AWS services, particularly Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, and EC2.
* Participate/assist in development of deployment plans for the systems developed.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* At least 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying solutions on AWS.
* Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data integration pipelines between AWS services and SFMC.
* Experience integrating SFMC with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, EC2) is highly desired.
* AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification is highly desirable. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Email Specialist certification is a strong plus.
