The Trade and Market Access Specialist will play a crucial role in driving the UK's trade policy and market access objectives in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Trade and Economics team and DIT sector leads on all matters related to trade policy, acting as a trusted advisor on key topics relevant to the UK's trade priorities in Brazil.
* Provide timely and accurate trade and economic analysis, reporting on significant international trade issues in Brazil, including gathering information and presenting it in written and graphic format.
* Collaborate with the Trade and Economics team to identify and address trade barriers, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders at both national and regional levels.
* Work closely with the DIT Regional Market Access Team and HQ to develop and implement strategies for resolving market access barriers.
* Act as a central point of contact between the DIT Regional Market Access Team, HQ, and Brazil sector leads, facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
Market Access Expertise:
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, and a deep understanding of trade policies and regulations.
They will be able to build strong relationships with key government and industry stakeholders, including ministries, regulatory agencies, Congress, and industry/trade associations.
As a market access specialist, they will be responsible for supporting the development of market access plans, communicating progress to stakeholders, and identifying areas for improvement.
