Key responsibilities of this position include environment deployment and management, Murex software deployment, and system health checks.
Murex consultants will also be responsible for automating routine tasks, performing database sanitization and purging procedures, and contributing to the creation of methodologies and documentation.
This role involves collaborating with project teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution, capitalizing on issues not related to a specific client, and contributing to product evolution.
In terms of technical skills, candidates should possess a degree in computer science or information technology engineering, experience with scripting languages, and knowledge of XML manipulations, UNIX operations, and RDMS operations.
Additionally, strong functional and technical understanding of Murex is required, as well as good knowledge of workflows, operations, fixings process, confirmations, and trade life cycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong working knowledge of Murex Configuration and Environment management
* Strong knowledge of scheduler software (e.g. Tidal, Autosys, JAMS)
* Good understanding of MXTest
* Good product knowledge/understanding in IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD
* Good understanding of Workflows, Operations, Fixings process, Confirmations, and Trade Life Cycle
* Strong functional and technical understanding of Murex
* Good knowledge of the different post-trade interactions between the various actors of capital markets including service providers
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience with Murex Environment management, good SQL, Unix, Scripting, Sybase and Oracle skills, and strong organization skills.
