5G Radio Optimization Engineer (Relocation to Spain)Reporting to the customer’s management team, this role focuses on optimising multivendor 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G sites to meet defined network quality targets while reducing optimisation‑related costs on the customer’s network.The position is responsible for initiating and delivering quality and performance programmes or activities aimed at continually enhancing the end‑customer experience.Main Activities and TasksProduce radio optimisation plans to achieve quality targets for area of ownershipUndertake pro‑active radio network investigations & support wide‑area projectsResponsible for the management of radio capacity within area of ownership, escalating where required for additional requirement or demand.Co‑ordination with other teams and departments to manage the timely delivery of data‑build against objectivesWork closely with end customer to ensure high quality customer experience against multi‑operator contractual commitments.Support Corporate and Business Accounts teams in bid support and ongoing experience.Take ownership and drive to resolution customer complaints, internal and VIP escalations. Including analysis of complex data, network traces, cross‑functional working.Identify faults, generate cases and drive to resolution via Operations teams and suppliersUnderstanding of Frequency, Scrambling Code & PCI planning and Capacity PlanningRequired Experience, Education & TrainingFully competent in the use of appropriate customer’s radio planning & optimisation tools.A Subject Matter Expert understanding of the air interface parameters, propagation models, antenna systems, frequency planning, and optimisation techniques on multi vendors equipment – a combination of two but not all Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, Samsung vendor’s equipment.Fully competent in the use of vendor OSS such as NetAct, Ericsson ENM and Radio Planning tools such as Atoll, iBwave etcHigh levels of computer literacy including all MS office applicationsEducated to Degree level or equivalent is desirableMinimum of five years’ experience in a Senior Optimisation roleWhat We OfferSupport with obtaining a work visaGrowth Opportunities – Support for learning and career advancement.Work‑Life Balance – Flexible hours and hybrid work options.Inclusive Culture – A welcoming, diverse environment where everyone feels valued.Generous Time OffRelocation to Spain is required for this position.
