Business Data Analyst Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst to join our team. As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business growth by analyzing data and providing insights to inform strategic decisions.
* About the Role:
* This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work with our product managers and product owners to gather business requirements and document them.
* You will be part of an agile product delivery team, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
* Your expertise in reporting tools like Office and Power BI will enable you to leverage data to drive business outcomes.
* In this role, you will develop roadmaps to drive the company forward, act as a liaison across business units, information technology, and outside customers, and continuously refine product backlog items with the Scrum Team.
* With a strong background in launching software or services in partnership with business and engineering teams, you will inspire a team to act as a small business jointly accountable for its product.
* You will have experience driving end-to-end delivery of highly innovative products and outstanding organizational, communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills at all levels.
* Additionally, you will have sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, prioritization, and time management skills, as well as understanding of cloud data lakes and data warehouse systems.
* Familiarity with MS Power BI for business reporting and self-service will also be beneficial.
* Prior experience working for a global, highly matrixed, Consumer Packaged Goods company, preferably in the Supply Chain domains, will be an asset.
* Knowledge of the CPG market, industry trends, and customer needs to help inform the product vision and roadmap will also be valuable.
* Last but not least, your experience creating automated data quality management rules will be put to good use.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Combination of IT and business experiences.
* Business focus areas include Supply Chain.
* Good to have knowledge of Power BI, Snowflake, SAP ERP, and SAP HANA, SQL.
