Network Engineer – LAN/WAN (Senior / Level 3)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer (LAN/WAN) to join our global infrastructure team. In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain complex network environments while providing advanced Level 3 support for critical incidents. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure high availability, security, and performance across enterprise network systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy LAN/WAN network infrastructure across enterprise environments.Provide 3rd level troubleshooting for all LAN/WAN issues, alerts, and escalations.Maintain and support all network monitoring and reporting systems.Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation for all deployed systems and solutions.Participate in on‑call rotations and provide after‑hours support as required.Perform administrative tasks including time reporting and status updates.Configure and install a wide range of network components (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).Execute network maintenance, upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.Monitor network performance, ensuring system availability, reliability, and capacity planning.Follow established change and configuration management processes for all network modifications.Work with the security team to implement security tools, policies, and best practices.Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve complex issues.Deliver technical training to internal teams.Technical QualificationsStrong networking background with CCNP certification (required).Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and repair network issues.Ability to communicate with customers, gather requirements, and collaborate with offshore teams.Experience with SD‑WAN (Silver Peak preferred).Experience with Next‑Gen Firewalls (Cisco Firepower preferred).Hands-on experience troubleshooting routing loops, asymmetric routing, and STP loop issues.Expertise configuring/troubleshooting: Cisco ASA, IPSCisco ISECisco WLC (wireless)Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGPLAN switching: VLAN, VTP, STP, EtherChannelQuality of Service (QoS)TCP/IP stackApplication protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL, etc.Network security: IPSec/SSL VPN, Cisco AnyConnect, AAA, TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1xExperience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus 7K/9K switches.Skilled in Cisco IOS and NX‑OS configuration and troubleshooting.Experience with application load balancers and firewall cloud services (Zscaler preferred).Data Center networking experience (Nexus / ACI preferred).Ability to support enterprise apps such as SAP, Citrix, Portal, etc.Ability to analyze monitoring outputs and recommend actions (e.g., CPU spikes on core devices).Cloud experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.Hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler, Cisco FTD, Aruba SD‑WAN, and Azure Cloud considered a strong advantage.General QualificationsStrong team player with excellent collaboration skills.Ability to interact directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.Excellent documentation and reporting skills.Self‑starter with strong initiative and problem‑solving mindset.Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a dynamic environment.Education RequirementsCCNP Certification (required)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.Advanced English.Igualdade & Oportunidade para TodosRepresentando 165 nacionalidades em todo o mundo, nos orgulhamos de ser um empregador que oferece igualdade de oportunidades, comprometido em fornecer oportunidades iguais de emprego a todos os candidatos e funcionários, independentemente de raça, religião, sexo, cor, idade, nacionalidade, gravidez, orientação sexual, deficiência física ou informações genéticas, ou qualquer outra classificação protegida, de acordo com as leis federais, estaduais e/ou locais.
