As a forward-thinking IT Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for all employees, both onsite and remote.
You will serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to train and support non-technical users effectively.
With a strong focus on cybersecurity, you will manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms, conduct regular software updates, security patching, and vulnerability assessments, and assist with cloud infrastructure management, data backup, and disaster recovery planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications
 * A working level of spoken and written English
 * Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or similar roles, preferably in startups or fast-paced environments
 * Deep knowledge of computer systems, networks, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)
 * Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ability to solve problems independently and communicate solutions clearly
 * Experience with endpoint management, SaaS administration, and automation tools
 * Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, including MFA, VPNs, patch management, and incident response
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to train and support non-technical users
 * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields (or equivalent experience/certifications)
 * Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), or Google IT Support Professional Certificate are a plus
Key Responsibilities:

 * Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS platforms
 * Support the deployment and integration of new productivity and collaboration tools, including project management (e.g., Teamwork, ClickUp, Asana, Monday), internal tool builders, and AI-driven solutions
 * Monitor and maintain endpoint security, including antivirus, firewalls, VPNs, and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
 * Assist with cloud infrastructure management, data backup, and disaster recovery planning
 * Conduct regular software updates, security patching, and vulnerability assessments
 * Support cybersecurity initiatives, including employee security awareness training and incident response
 * Document processes, create user guides, and train staff on new technologies and best practices
 * Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and implement new tools that enhance productivity and security
