Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Endpoint Engineer to join our endpoint management team in maintaining and securing 600+ corporate devices across our global organization. This remote position requires a technical expert with a strong focus on automation, efficiency, and reducing contact time while ensuring compliance across multiple security frameworks. You will report to the Manager of Endpoint Engineers and work alongside a team of 4 engineers.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain, patch, and ensure compliance for Windows and macOS endpoints using NinjaOne
* Develop and implement automation scripts to reduce manual processes and minimize end-user contact time
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint issues with minimal escalation
* Execute patch management cycles and ensure timely deployment across all devices
* Implement endpoint security policies and procedures as defined by management
* Monitor endpoint health metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement
* Create and maintain technical documentation for endpoint configurations and processes
* Collaborate with security and IT teams on endpoint protection initiatives
* Participate in incident response for endpoint-related security events
* Assist in vendor evaluations and provide technical input for solution selection
* Mentor junior team members and share technical knowledge
* Participate in on-call rotation for critical endpoint issues
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 3-5 years of hands-on endpoint management experience
* Strong proficiency with NinjaOne or similar endpoint management platforms
* Experience managing both Windows and macOS environments
* Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation
* Solid understanding of patch management, software deployment, and configuration management
* Experience with security compliance requirements (SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, CCPA)
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must be able to read and speak fluently in English
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in cybersecurity or identity governance industries
* Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator or similar
* Experience with zero-trust security models and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools
* Knowledge of automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
* Experience implementing self-service IT solutions
* Familiarity with cloud-based device management strategies
Work Environment
* Must be available for occasional meetings across global time zones
* On-call rotation participation required for critical issues
