Position Overview
Our client, a fast-growing technology company specializing in freight audit and business analytics solutions, is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the technical delivery and implementation of their platform for new and existing customers.
This role sits within the Operations organization and focuses primarily on client implementation and solution delivery rather than software development. The Solutions Architect will serve as the primary technical lead for customer implementations, translating business requirements into platform configuration, coordinating delivery activities, and ensuring successful deployments.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
* Lead end-to-end customer implementations, including discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, deployment, and post-go-live support, ensuring successful delivery of the platform.
* Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, managing technical discussions, delivery expectations, escalations, and implementation risks.
* Translate business and operational requirements into implementation plans, platform configurations, and technical documentation.
* Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate system integrations, operational requirements, and overall solution design for successful implementation.
* Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, coordinating internal teams and ensuring project milestones and timelines are met.
* Utilize SQL and system knowledge to troubleshoot issues, validate data, and support operational analysis during and after implementations.
* Maintain clear documentation and delivery tracking using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project management and ticketing systems.
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while working collaboratively across departments involved in the implementation lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
* 4+ years of relevant experience in solutions architecture, implementation consulting, technical delivery, or similar client-facing technical roles.
* Experience with software release processes and SDLC.
* Familiarity with freight rate, freight audit, or logistics technology platforms is highly desirable.
* Experience working with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) is preferred.
