Demand Manager Brazil – Haleon
Lead the process of generation and market sign-off on the most reliable forecast for all products in the market or markets under responsibility, coordinating cross-functional inputs to drive decisions on volumes based on quality data analysis. Provide visibility to improve supply and financial planning processes to optimize inventory, avoid write-offs, and improve customer service. The role is a key stakeholder for the General Manager and Leadership Team in the market(s) represented.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the process of generating an unconstrained and constrained forecast on a monthly basis (core activity in the IBP process).
* Enable monthly validation of business performance and support decisions to achieve commercial objectives integrated with finance by identifying, analyzing, and defining actions to cover risks or gaps against the Plan.
* Manage end-to-end demand forecasting across all brands to improve forecast accuracy and enhance customer service levels in line with external benchmarks.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver sales gap closing opportunities as required.
* Define key forecasting roles and accountabilities across the business to align Sales, Marketing, Trade and Finance and drive a one-number mindset for decision making and forecast transparency.
* Act as unbiased and neutral Business Partner to the General Manager and LT.
* Establish and embed revised Demand Forecasting processes to support the Supply Chain Operating Model and Core Commercial Cycle.
* Establish processes to support key account and trade channel-specific forecast capability to drive service levels and reduce working capital requirements.
* Manage Demand Forecasting input into key IBP meetings (Demand Review, Supply Review, regional S&OP).
* Identify and understand forecast changes across short- and long-term horizons to support supply chain action and informed decision making.
* Ensure seamless handover of demand forecast and market intelligence to supply planning hubs to optimize inventory levels.
* Integrate Trade Spend/Net Sales inputs to prioritize cost-effective net sales delivery.
* Lead or contribute to significant projects to transform the operating model, including gross-to-net, complexity reduction, COGs, and working capital improvements.
* Develop technical and IT capabilities to support baseline statistical modeling and integration of forecast platforms for improved accuracy.
* Deliver long-range volume forecasts for plan submission and mid-year review.
* Internally measure and report demand forecasting KPIs to drive improvements in forecast accuracy, bias, working capital, and customer service.
* Provide a consolidated view of forecast trends and robustness across all Trade Channels/Categories.
* Lead Brand/Category and Channel forecast input into Demand Review Meetings; challenge Sales/Marketing inputs to align volume and value forecasts across business units.
* Collaborate with Category & Shopper/Sales and Marketing teams to validate NPI forecasts and assumptions.
* Recruit and develop talent to support best-in-class forecast capability and performance.
* Incorporate Sample and Promotional Packs inputs as required; maintain detailed knowledge of all forecast components (statistical baseline, promotions, cannibalization, market intelligence, NPI).
* Monitor key trends impacting market, sector, and category performance.
* Support and ensure QMS-compliant processes are in place and followed; promote a safe and compliant working environment.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or similar
* At least 3 years as a demand planner or related position
* Experience managing direct reports
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in supply chain, logistics, demand management, or related fields
* Proactive in leading and managing information and data from the supply chain
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Leadership and influencing abilities
* Relationship-building capability
* Strong customer service awareness
* Strategic and lateral thinking to deliver large-scale solutions
* Experience with SAP and Excel; highly developed analytical skills
