Salas O'Brien is looking for a modeler/BIM Specialist to assist Architects and technical design staff in the development of BIM models LOD 200, 300 and 350 to produce design drawings, construction documents, and details for projects in markets such as commercial office space, mission critical, telecommunications, and industrial building types. The role also involves supporting BIM and Digital Delivery initiatives by creating and maintaining BIM content for the organization. This position reports to the BIM Manager whilst working as an integrated part of the project's design teams.
Responsibilities:
* Lead design project production team with development of BIM model and all associated project documents.
* Support Architects with building plans, sections, elevations, and detail development.
* Develop and coordinate construction documents.
* May act as a building systems coordinator on projects responsible for clash detection for Architectural, Structural, and MEP systems.
* Support the development of BIM content.
Skills
* Ability to work with design teams on multiple projects at the same time.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Highly organized and detail oriented.
* Ability to work overtime when required.
* Team player with flexibility to accommodate different client's needs and project's requirements.
* Experience with Bluebeam or Adobe Acrobat PDF.
* Experience with BIM360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
* Knowledge of Dynamo preferred.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Educational Background: Completion of a technical college diploma in Architecture, Engineering or Construction.
* 2+ years of architectural or architectural engineering drafting experience.
* 2+ years experience working with Autodesk Revit.

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
