Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
* Edit raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes.
* Remove filler words, false starts, redundancies, and off-topic tangents.
* Improve pacing, clarity, and flow without changing the speaker's voice or intent.
* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered.
* Insert intro/outro, sponsor reads, disclaimers, or updates when required.
* Follow embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully.
* Deliver clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline.
* Produce 3–4 short clips per episode for marketing use.
* Support up to two rounds of edits per episode when requested.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience editing long-form podcasts (interview or narrative style).
* Strong editorial judgment – you know what to cut and why.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
* Comfortable working with physician and expert-level conversations.
* Fast, reliable turnaround times.
* Clear, professional communication.
* Familiarity with tools like Descript, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic, or similar.
