Regulatory Compliance Specialist
This role involves research and tracking of global trade regulations across LATAM and North America, focusing on compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain awareness of legislative and regulatory changes in assigned countries using government websites, agencies, third-party sources, and in-country experts.
* Track global trade compliance regulations, including customs duties, export controls, sanctions, tariff updates, and other relevant requirements across jurisdictions.
* Interpret, analyze, and document new or amended legislation in an internal repository with high accuracy and clarity.
* Prepare comparative analyses of regulatory changes when required.
The Regulatory Research Analyst will collaborate closely with Business Analysts and ERP/GTS specialists to provide insights that keep SAP GTS systems up to date for global clients. Minimal client interaction is expected, with a focus on research-driven work.
