Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and deploying large-scale AI/LLM models.
About the Position
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 1+ years of experience as a Search Engineer or AI Engineer
* Search Technology Experience – OpenSearch, building scalable search systems
* 2+ years of Python development experience, including API creation, model training, testing, and general backend programming
Key Responsibilities:
1. Designing and optimizing RAG models for search across large-scale medical and scientific documents
2. Pre-processing and embedding over half a billion documents to ensure they are searchable and contextually accurate
3. Semantic chunking strategies
4. Improving the automated evaluation pipeline
5. Fine-tuning LLMs for textual RAG use cases
The successful candidate will work independently while providing regular updates to the team and collaborating with DevOps for production rollout.
