Spearheading new logistics initiatives that enable growth, enhance our processes, and lower costs for our customers.How You'll Make an Impact:Analyzing and solving operational barriers with a focus on understanding root causes with carriers.Building new mechanisms and metrics to help streamline daily operations.Communicating with national and international customers, agents, shipowners, suppliers, and service providers.Performing administrative routines related to shipment information in the system to ensure accurate financial calculations.Managing costs control and budget definition for international freight, taxes, and customs clearance, including import duties per country (landed cost).Verifying and implementing actions for cost reduction objectives.Ensuring all logistics processes and procedures comply with internal requirements and governance guidelines, especially DUIMP.Your Background:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Administration, Foreign Trade, Engineering, or related fields.Experience in Import/Export processes, supporting tools, and ensuring compliance with import regulations, including shipping management, commercial concerns, operational imperatives, and global sourcing decisions.Proficiency with Thomson Reuters (OSGT), Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills required).Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader advancing a sustainable energy future.
