While our primary focus has been the Latin American market, we are now expanding globally, positioning ourselves as the home of movie buffs and a community shaping the future of cinema .

What Will Your Next Role Look Like?
As Marketing Manager, Brazil, you will lead the development and execution of Peliplat’s local marketing strategy, driving user growth, engagement, and brand positioning in the Brazilian market.
This is a hands-on strategic role : you will not only execute campaigns but also define how Peliplat wins in Brazil —from influencer strategy and community growth to viral campaigns and cultural positioning.
You will work closely with global teams (Product, Content, BD) while acting as the local market expert, ensuring our product and messaging resonate deeply with Brazilian audiences.

Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Growth Ownership
Define and execute Peliplat’s go-to-market strategy for Brazil, aligned with company growth targets (downloads, DAU, retention, subscriptions), with emphasis on Mobile Application Development.
Localize global strategies to fit the Brazilian audience behaviour, trends, and cultural nuances
Identify growth opportunities through viral loops, partnerships, and community-driven mechanics
Act as the key voice of the Brazilian market internally
User Acquisition & Campaign Execution
Plan and execute user acquisition campaigns, focusing on organic and viral growth channels
Develop referral programs, co-watching campaigns, and “watch with friends” mechanics
Collaborate with paid media teams (when applicable) to optimize performance campaigns
Continuously test and iterate growth strategies based on performance data
Influencer & Creator Strategy
Build and manage relationships with Brazilian influencers, film critics, and content creators
Identify and onboard creators to host Virtual Screening Rooms and co-watching events
Develop scalable influencer programs (from top-tier KOLs to micro-creators)
Leverage the “100% revenue to creators” model to attract and retain talent
Community & Event Marketing
Drive adoption of Virtual Screening Rooms as core user behaviour
Plan and execute high-impact events (e.g., “Watch with [Influencer]”, themed screenings, premieres)
Foster a strong community culture through interactive campaigns and social engagement
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful event execution
Content & Social Media Strategy
Define content direction for Brazil across TikTok, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
Identify viral content formats (reaction videos, co-watching clips, film discussions)
Collaborate with content and ops teams to turn in-app moments into shareable external content
Ensure consistent brand voice and cultural relevance
Data-Driven Optimization
Track and analyze key metrics: installs, activation, retention, DAU/MAU, engagement
Use insights to refine campaigns, content, and user journeys
Identify behavioral patterns and optimize funnel performance
Report on market performance and recommend strategic adjustments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product to provide feedback on user experience and localization needs
Collaborate with BD and Content teams on creator partnerships and programming
Align with global marketing while advocating for Brazil-specific strategies
Support long-term brand building and market expansion plans

Qualifications
5–8+ years of experience in marketing, growth, or community roles, ideally in tech, media, or entertainment
Strong understanding of the Brazilian digital landscape, including social media and influencer ecosystems
Proven experience driving user growth, engagement, or community-building initiatives
Experience working with influencers, creators, or content-driven platforms
Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions
Fluent in Portuguese (native level) and strong English proficiency

Background in startups or fast-scaling products
Familiarity with subscription-based or community-driven platforms
