Area Sales Manager
General objective of the role
As an Area Sales Manager of the Ecorobotix SA. Team, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales of agricultural machinery within a designated region. The role involves overseeing existing dealer relationships, optimizing dealer performance, and driving new business opportunities by identifying future dealers and customers as well as driving revenue growth. The Area Sales Manager will work closely with dealers to ensure product availability, support, and training, ensuring the company's agricultural machinery is effectively marketed and sold. This position requires a leader with a deep understanding of market dynamics, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster a results-oriented sales culture within the region.
Reporting lines and interactions
This role reports directly to the Commercial Director. Internally, you will closely collaborate with other members of the Sales team and other teams of Ecorobotix. Externally, you will interact with dealers, farmers, partners, associations, trade shows, Agronomists, and CCA's.
A day in the life of an Area Sales Manager
The Area Sales Manager will travel across the designated territory to visit key accounts, meet new prospects, and support dealer partners. Whether you're pulling into a grower's yard or a dealership lot, you're the face of a cutting-edge ag-tech company that's reshaping the future of precision spraying.
You will showcase how our high-precision sprayer delivers real ROI: less chemical waste, more targeted application, and better yields. You walk growers through the technology— highlighting features like variable rate spraying and intelligent targeting—while grounding every conversation in real-world impact. You sit down and dig into the potential customer's specific challenges and help them see how the product fits into their operation. You're not just selling equipment; you're helping solve problems.

Key Responsibilities
* Identify and prospect new customers across Brazil, managing all communication and driving the sales process through to contract signature.
* Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, ensuring strong order generation and relationship development.
* Assess customer solvency, share pricing information, negotiate terms, and suggest improvements to optimize pricing strategies.
* Provide training and ongoing support to partners, while identifying opportunities for expanding and strengthening the partner network.
* Actively participate in industry fairs, customer demos, and events to increase visibility and drive engagement in the region.
* Foster collaboration and support within the distributor network to drive sales and enhance product reach.
* Create compelling content in collaboration with the marketing team to support campaigns and enhance brand presence.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Sales and/or Agronomy, or related field.
* 10+ years of experience in sales and hands-on experience in agriculture, ag-tech, or precision equipment.
* Willingness to travel domestically in Brazil.
Must-Have
* Experience in Ag-tech or chemical distribution.
* Knowledge in Agronomy related to weeding in field crops.
