St. Nicholas School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised Office Secretary to join our team at the Alphaville campus.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Section, including managing the diary, scheduling appointments, and dealing with calls and emails as required;
* Ensure school systems, calendars, and class lists are accurate and kept up to date;
* Communicate effectively with parents, Heads of Department, teachers, and other areas os departments of the school;
* Support the organisation of school trips, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, health and safety standards, and best practice in relation to administration and logistics;
* Liaise with travel agencies and venues, and arrange transport when necessary;
* Provide general office support, including correspondence, translations and logistics.
* Comply with school policies on data security and LGPD (data protection) legislation.
Required Skills and Attributes
* Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English;
* Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively;
* Strong interpersonal skills;
* Highly organised, efficient, and objective;
* Methodical approach, with strong attention to detail and deadlines;
* Proficiency in computer use and knowledge of database systems.
